युवराज सिंह यह नाम सुनके एक बेहतरीन ऑलराउंडर, एक फाइटर मैन याद आता है। लाइफ में इतने प्रोब्लेम्स होने के बाद भी उससे संभलकर कैसे जीया जाता है, इसका एक जीता जाता सबूत युवराज सिंग है। 6 बॉल में 6 सिक्स, बेहतरीन फील्डिंग, टीम इंडिया को 2007 T20 वर्ल्डकप, 2011 में one day वर्ल्डकप जिताने में युवी का योगदान ये सारी यादे कोई नई भूल सकता है। युवी को कैंसर होने के बाद भी उसका सामना करके फिरसे टीम इंडिया में अपनी जगह बनना यह कोई आम बात नही है। युवराज को अपनी क्रिकेटिंग करिअर को बनाने के लिए कितनी मेहनत करनी पड़ी क्या आप जानते है??

युवराज का जन्म 12 दिसम्बर 1981 में चण्डीगढ़,पंजाब

में हुआ। युवी के पिता योगराज सिंह एक समय के इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेटर रह चुके हैं। युवी की माँ का नाम शबनम था, लेकिन युवी के माता पिता का रिश्ता ज्यादा देर तक चला नही और युवी जब छोटे थे तब उनका तलाक हो गया था। युवी की परवरिश उनके माँ ने ही कि थी। हालांकि बचपन मे अपने पिता को क्रिकेट खेलता देख युवी को भी क्रिकेट की चाह हो गयी थी, उन्होंने भी भविष्य में एक अच्छा क्रिकेटर होने का सोच लिया था।

युवी के सुरूवाती पढ़ाई DAV पब्लिक स्कूल में हुई थी।युवराज स्कूल के पढाई के साथ रोलर स्केटिंग में भी अच्छे थे, और उन्होंने नेशनल अंडर 14 रोलर स्केटिंग चैंपियनशिप भी अपने नाम की थी। हालांकि युवी के पिता चाहते थे कि वह क्रिकेटर बने क्योंकि उन्होंने परख लिया था कि युवी क्रिकेट बहुत अच्छा खेलते है।युवी ने भी अपने पिताजी के सपने के लिए जी जान लगा दी।

समय बीतने के बाद युवी एक अच्छे बैट्समैन के रूप में सामने आए। 1995-96 में युवी का सेलेक्शन अंडर 16 पंजाब टीम में हुआ। वहाँपर अच्छे परफॉर्मेन्स के बाद युवी का सेलेक्शन पंजाब अंडर 19 टीम के लिए हुआ।

2000 में युवी का सेलेक्शन अंडर 19 वर्ल्डकप के लिए हुआ और वहाँपर युवी प्लेयर ऑफ द टूर्नामेंट रहे। अपने शानदार खेलसे युवराज ने सबको इतना प्रभावित किया को युवी का सेलेक्शन icc knockout trophy में इंडिया के इंटरनेशनल टीम में हुआ। 3 ऑक्टोबर 2000 को केनिया के खिलाफ युविका वन डे डेब्यु हुआ।अगले 3 साल तक ईवी वन डे ही खेलते रहे और 13 ऑक्टोबर 2003 में युवी का टेस्ट डेब्यु न्यूज़ीलैंड के खिलाफ हुआ।अब समय आ गया था कि युवी इंडियन टीम में अपनी एक बेहतरीन जगह बना चुके थे। हालांकि 2007 में वन डे वर्ल्डकप में बुरी तरह हारने के बाद भारतीय टीम की कमान ms धोनी के पास सौपी गयी थी और इस टीम में युवी उपकप्तान थे।

2007 में ही क्रिकेट में एक नया फॉर्मेट T20 आया और इसके बाद T20 वर्ल्डकप में युवी ने इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ 6 बॉल में 6 सिक्स लगाके एक रिकॉर्ड बनाया। इसी मैच में युवराज फास्टेट फिफ्टी 12 बॉल में 50 का बुआ रिकॉर्ड अपने नाम बनाया। समय बीतता रहा और युवराज अच्छे अच्छे परफॉर्मेंस देते रहे। 2011 वर्ल्डकप से पहले युवराज को सांस लेने में थोड़ी सी तकलीफ होने लगी और उन्होंने इस बारे में अपने cgo को बताया तो उन्होंने युवी को चेकअप करने की सलाह दी, लेकिन वर्ल्डकप होने के कारण युवी ने चेकअप बाद में करने का सोचा और तकलीफ के बाद भी युवी वर्ल्डकप में खेले। वर्ल्डकप में युवी ने बहुत ही अच्छा परफॉर्मेंस दिया, युवी 4 बार मैन ऑफ द मैच और प्लेयर ऑफ दी टूर्नामेंट भी रहे। इस टूर्नामेंट में युवी के परफॉर्मेंस के साथ सभी ने अच्छा परफॉर्मेंस किया और इंडिया ने वर्ल्डकप जीता।वर्ल्डकप जितनेके बाद एक तरफ सब खुश थे और एक तरफ युवी की तबियत ज्यादा खराब हो रही थी। युवी ने चेकअप कराया तो पता चला को उनको कैंसर है, इस खबर को सुनकर युवी के सभी फैन्स पूरी तरह से टूट गए लेकिन युवी ने इसका डटकर सामना किया और US जाकर अपने ट्रीटमेंट करवाया। कुछ महीने बीतने के बाद युवराज ठीक होकर आए और 2012 में उन्होंने इंडियन टिम में वापसी की। लेकिन कैंसर जैसी बड़ी बीमारी को मात देने के बाद उनके खेल में गिरावट आयीं और इसी वजह से युवी टीम अपनी परमानेंट जगह नही बना सके,लेकिन जब भी मौका मिला युवी ने टीम के लिए अच्छा किया।

युवी की निजी लाइफ के बारे में बात करे तो युवी की शादी उनकी gf हेज़ल से 30 नवंबर 2016 में हुई थी। शादी के हेज़ल ने अपना नाम गुरबसन्त कौर करवा लिया है, और यह कपल दुनिया का एक बेस्ट कपल माना जाता है।

कैंसर जैसी बड़ी बीमारी से लड़ने के बाद युवी के क्रिकेटिंग करिअर में काफी उतार चढ़ाव देखने को मिले। उनको ज्यादा टीम खेलने के लिए जगह नही मिली और टीम से अंदर बाहर होते रहे और इसी वजह से एक दिन 10 जून 2019 को युवी ने अपनी रिटायरमेंट न्यू दिल्ली में डिक्लेअर कर दी और क्रिकेट को अलविदा कह दिया। अभी युवी सिर्फ आईपीएल खेलते है और 2020 में मुम्बई इंडियंस के साथ जुड़े हुए है।

युवी ने one day में 304 मैच खेलकर 8701 रन्स बनाये है जिसमे 14 शतक और 52 अर्धशतक के साथ उनका टॉप स्कोर 150 रहा है। टेस्ट में युवी ने 40 मैच खेले थे और 1900 रन्स बनाये और इसमें 3 शतक, 11 अर्धशतक के साथ उनका टॉप स्कोर 169 रहा है। t20 में युवी ने 58 मैच खेले है और 1177 रन्स बनाये है , जिसमे युवी 8 फिफ्टी लगाई है और उनका टॉप स्कोर 77 है।

Yuvraj Singh, hearing this name, remembers one of the finest all-rounders, a fighter man. Even after having so many problems in life, one of the winning proofs of how to live with him is Yuvraj Singh. 6 sixes in 6 balls, best fielding, Yuvi's contribution in winning Team India 2007 T20 World Cup, one day World Cup in 2011, all these memories can be forgotten. Despite Yuvi having cancer, it is not common to face him again and make his place in Team India. Do you know how much Yuvraj had to work to make his cricketing career ??

Yuvraj was born on 12 December 1981 in Chandigarh, Punjab.
Happened in Yuvi's father Yograj Singh was a former international cricketer. Yuvi's mother's name was Shabnam, but the relationship of Yuvi's parents did not last long and they were divorced when Yuvi was younger. Yuvi was raised by her mother. Although Yuvi had also loved cricket when he saw his father playing cricket, he also thought of being a good cricketer in future.

Yuvi's studies were done at DAV Public School. Yuvraj was also good at roller skating while studying at the school, and also earned him the National Under 14 Roller Skating Championship. However, Yuvi's father wanted him to be a cricketer as he had tested that Yuvi plays cricket very well. Yuvi also gave his life for his father's dream.

As time passed Yuvi emerged as a good batsman. Yuvi was selected in the Under-16 Punjab team in 1995-96. After a good performance there, Yuvi was selected for the Punjab Under 19 team.

In 2000, Yuvi was selected for the Under 19 World Cup and was named Yuvi Player of the Tournament. Yuvraj impressed everyone so much with his brilliant game that Yuvi was selected in the ICC knockout trophy in India's international team. On 3 October 2000, Yuvika made her ODI debut against Kenya. For the next 3 years, EV was playing One Day and on 13 October 2003, Yuvi's Test debut was against New Zealand. The time had come that Yuvi was one of his best in the Indian team. Had made the place. However, after losing badly in One Day World Cup in 2007, the command of the Indian team was handed over to MS Dhoni and Yuvi was the vice-captain in this team.

It was only in 2007 that a new format T20 came into cricket and after that in the T20 World Cup, Yuvi made a record against England by hitting 6 sixes in 6 balls. In the same match, Yuvraj Fate Fifti made a bua record of 50 in 12 balls. Time passed and Yuvraj kept giving good performances. After a few months, Yuvraj recovered and returned to Indian Tim in 2012. But after defeating a big disease like cancer, his game declined and due to this, Yuvi team could not make his permanent place, but Yuvi did well for the team whenever he got the chance.

Talking about Yuvi's personal life, Yuvi was married to his gf Hazel on 30 November 2016. The wedding hazel has got its name Gurbasant Kaur, and this couple is considered one of the best couples in the world.

After fighting a big disease like cancer, Yuvi's cricketing career has seen a lot of ups and downs. He did not get a place to play more teams and kept going in and out of the team and due to this one day, on 10 June 2019, Yuvi declared his retirement in New Delhi and said goodbye to cricket. Right now Yuvi only plays IPL and is associated with Mumbai Indians in 2020.

Yuvi has scored 8701 runs in one day playing 304 matches, with 14 centuries and 52 fifties, his top score is 150.
