दोस्तो क्रिकेटमें हर वक़्त बहुत सारे खिलाडी एक दुसरो की जगह लेते रहते है, लेकिन कुछ खिलाडी ऐसे होते है जिनकी जगह कोई नही ले सकता उनमेसेही एक खिलाडी है जिसका नाम है A B डिविलियर्स। क्रिकेट में वन ऑफ द बेस्ट बैट्समैन जिनके बैटिंग शॉट्स, उनकी फील्डिंग की पूरी दुनिया दीवानी है।इसलिए डिविलियर्स के सिर्फ अफ्रीका में नही तो पूरे दुनिया मे बहुत सारे फैन्स है। आईपीएल के वजह से हमारे इंडिया में भी डिविलियर्स के फैन फॉलविंग बहुत ज्यादा है। डिविलियर्स का बल्ला ग्राउंड में कही भी शॉट मारने की क्षमता रखता है, इसलिए उनको mr. 360 कहा जाता है। बडे बडे क्रिकेट एक्सपर्ट का भी यही मानना है कि डिविलियर्स के बैटिंग टेक्निक का कोई तोड़ नही है। उनका फ्रेंडली स्वभाव हर किसी को पसंद आता है।

डिविलियर्स के जीवन के बारे में कुछ बाते:

डिविलियर्स के पिताजी का नाम अब्राहम बी डिविलियर्स था, जो कि एक डॉक्टर थे और माँ का नाम मिली डिविलियर्स था जोकि एक प्रोपर्टी डीलर का काम करती थी। पिताजी डॉक्टर होने के कारण वह डिविलियर्स के फिटनेस पर खास ध्यान रखते और उनको स्पोर्ट्स खेलने के प्रोत्साहित करते रहते, और शायद उनके प्रोत्साहित का ही नतीजा है कि डिविलियर्स आज इतने बड़े खिलाडी है। डिविलियर्स ने अपनी स्कूल की पढ़ाई अफ्रीकन बॉयज हाइस्कूल में की। यहां उनके सहयोगी खिलाडी डुप्लेसिस भी पढ़ते थे। डिविलियर्स को काफी कम उम्र से ही क्रिकेट में काफी इंटरेस्ट हो गया था। क्रिकेट के साथ ही डिविलियर्स रग्बी, टेनिस, गोल्फ, स्विमिंग ऐसे खेलमे बहुत ज्यादा अच्छे थे, लेकिन शायद उनको क्रिकेट में ही ज्यादा अच्छा लगता था इसलिए उन्होंने अपना करियर क्रिकेट में बनाने का सोचा। 2003के टाइटंस क्रिकेट टीम के लिए खेलना सुरु कर दिया। आगे चलकर डिविलियर्स कैर्रिकफर्गस क्रिकेट क्लब के लिए भी खेलते दिखाई दिए, और अबतक उनकव क्रिकेट के टैलेंट की समझ इतनी होगयी थी के उनको दक्षिण अफ्रीका के इंटरनैशनल टीम में आने के लिए ज्यादा दे नही लगी। 2004 में इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ उन्होंने अपना टेस्ट डेब्यु किया। डेब्यु के बाद उनकी क्रिकेट में और भी निखार आता रहा और वह ना की अपने बैटिंग से बल्कि अपने फील्डिंग से भी टीम के लिए सहयोग देंने लगे और उनको आज भी दुनिया का बेस्ट फील्डर माना जाता है। हांलाकि आगे कुछ दिनों में उनकी बैटिंग थोड़ी कमजोर दिखि, और 2007 के वर्ल्डकप में डिविलियर्स पूरी तरह अपने फैन्स के उम्मीदों पर खरे नही उतरे। उन्होंने एक्का दुक्का पारिया खेली लेकिन यह पारिया उनकी प्रतिभा के हिसाब से बहुत कम थी। 2008 में इंडिया के खिलाफ टेस्ट में डबल हंड्रेड लगाकर उन्होंने फिरसे आलोचकोंका मुँह बन्द कर दिया। यही उनके करियर का टर्निंग पॉइंट रहा और इसके बाद उनके बल्लेबाजी में एक जादुई निखार आ गयी।

2010 में डिविलियर्स icc प्लेयर ऑफ द ईयर चुने गए। 2011 के वर्ल्डकप में उन्होंने टीम के लिए शानदार पारिया खेली। 2012 में उनको अफ्रीका का कप्तान चुना गया और कप्तानी संभालने के बाद उनका खेल और भी अच्छा हो गया। 2014 में डिविलियर्स फिर एक बार icc प्लेयर ऑफ द ईयर चुने गए। डिविलियर्स के नाम ही सबसे तेज 50, 100, 150 रन्स का रिकॉर्ड है, जोंकी उन्होंने 50 रन्स 16 गेंद, 100 रन्स 31 गेंद, और 150 64 गेंद में बनाये है। डिविलियर्स के वन डे डेब्यु की बात करे तो 2005 में इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ हुआ था और t 20 डेब्यु 2006 में ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ हुआ था। आईपीएल में डिविलियर्स सुरु में कुछ दिन दिल्ली के साथ थे लेकिन अब काफी दिनोसे rcb के साथ है और बहुत अच्छा परफॉर्मेंस भी कर रहे है।

2013 में डिविलियर्स के शादी उनकी gf डेनियल से हुई। उनके दो बेटे भी है जिनका नाम अब्राहम और जॉन है।

De Villiers' father's name was Abraham B. De Villiers, who was a doctor and mother's name was Millie de Villiers, who worked as a property dealer. Father being a doctor, he would have taken special care of de Villiers' fitness and encouraged him to play sports, and perhaps the result of his encouragement is that De Villiers is such a big player today.
