उनको सीरियल में पहला ब्रेक बालाजी teleface के 2008 kis desh me mera dil इस सिरियल में मिला।उसमे उन्होंने प्रीत जुनेजा का किरदार किया। उसके बाद 2009 में उनको पवित्र रिश्ता में मानव देशमुख के रोल में काम मिल वही से बहुत ज्यादा लोगोंके पसंदीदा होगये। लोग उनको बहुत प्यार करने लगे तो सीरियल 5 साल चली।

सुशान्त सिंह राजपूत फ़िल्म इंडस्ट्री का एक जाना माना नाम जिनोने अपने एक्टिंग के जलवे से पूरे दुनिया को अपना दीवाना बनने को मजबूर कर दिया था। पर कुछ दिन पहले आयी उनकी मौत के खबर से पूरी दुनिया को हिला दिया , किसको कुछ समज नही आ रहा था कि ये सब कैसे हुआ, ऐसा हो ही नही सकता सभी यही सोच में पड गए थे।

ओ पढ़ाई में बहुत ज्यादा अच्छे थे इसीलिए उन्होंने enginearing को ऐडमिशन ले लिया । उन्होंने दिल्ली कॉलेज ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग में मैकेनिकल इंजीनियरिंग में एडमिशन ले लिया। उनको डांस का बहुत शौक था । उनके दोस्त शिमक डवार के डांसक्लास में जाते थे शुशांत ने भी ये क्लास जॉइन कर लिए ।उसके बाद उनका पढ़ाई पर से ध्यान हट गया और उन्होंने 2 वर्ष बाद enginearring छोड़ दी।shushnat शिमक डवार के डांस ग्रुप में बैकग्राउण्ड डांसर में शामिल हो गए। 2005 में shushnat ने 51 फ़िल्म फेयर अवार्ड में as a बैकग्राउंड डांसर काम किया। 2006 कॉमनवेल्थ गेम भी उन्होंने डांस किया। वाहिसे उन्होंने एक्टिंग के बारें सोचा ।
उसमे उनकी कॉ ऍक्टर अंकिता लोखंडे उनकी रिअल लाईफ की gf बन गयी। उसके बाद sushnat ने जरा नचके दिखा और झलक दीखलाजा इस शो मे काम किया ।अंकिता को ।उन्होंने इसी शो में प्रपोज़ किया था। 7 साल बाद 2016 में उनका ब्रेकअप होगया।
Shunshant ने अपना फ़िल्म करिअर 2013 में अभिषेक कपूर के फ़िल्म kai po che से किया। ये फ़िल्म अछी रही। उसके बाद उन्होंने 2014 में sudhh desi romance में काम किया। उसके बाद pk, biography ऑफ dibakar bannergy, 2016 में MS dhoni the untold story किया। ये मूवी बहुत हिट रही।
इसे फ़िल्म के बाद उनको बहुत सारी फिल्में आफर होने लगी। 2017 rabata, राबता फ़िल्म के बाद उनका नाम कृति सेनन के साथ भी जोड़ा गया था। हाली में उनकी gf rhea chakraborthy थी, और ओ नवंबर में शादी भी करने वाले थे ऐसा कहा जाता था। 2018 kedarnath, 2019 sonchiriya, उनकी chichore फ़िल्म उनकी carrier की सबसे ज्यादा हिट फिल्म रही। उसके बाद उन्होंने ड्राइव फ़िल्म की ओ पर ओ हिट नाइ हो पाई। उनकी लास्ट फ़िल्म dil bechara थी।उसके बाद chanakya जैसे कई फिल्मों की ऑफर थी। but पता नाही उन्होंने क्यों 14 जून 2020 को उनके बांद्रा वेस्ट मुम्बई के घर मे सुसाइट किया। उनको क्या डिप्रेशन था। उनको क्या प्रॉब्लम थी, किसको नही पता। शायद उनकी लाइफ यही तक थी। उनकी कमी बॉलीवुड में कोई पूरी नाइ कर सकता। हम ने एक एक्टिंग का हीरा खो दिया है। भगवान उनको शान्ति दे।
