शिखर धवन हमारे इंडियन टीम के बेहतरीन बल्लेबाज पूरी दुनिया जिन्हें गब्बर के नाम से जानती है। शिखर धवन जब खेलते है तो बोर्ड पे कब रन बन जाते है पता भी नही चलता ।शिखर धवन ज्यादा से ज्यादा तेज रन बनाने में माहिर है। उनका बल्ला जब चलता है तब इंडियन टीम का स्कोर अच्छा होना तय होता है।
शिखर धवन का जन्म 5 दिसंबर 1985 में दिल्ली में हुआ। शिखर के पिताजी का नाम था महेन्द्रपाल और माताजी का नाम सुनैना था। बचपन से ही शिखर बहुत ज्यादा शरारती थे। शिखर की स्कूल तक कि पढ़ाई st.मार्क्स सीनियर सेकंडरी पब्लिक स्कूल दिल्ली में हुई। शिखर जितने शरारती थे उतना उनको खेलेने का भी शौक था। एक बार जब शिखर की मां ने शिखर के शरारत से तंग आकर उन्हें घर मे बन्द कर दिया था तब शिखर खिड़की से कपड़े के सहारे से नीचे चले गए थे।
बचपन से ही शिखर को क्रिकेट का बड़ा शौक था। 12 साल की उम्र में शिखर ने sonnet cricket club जॉइन कर लिया था। वहाँ उनके कोच थे तारक सिन्हा जो अबतक 12
इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेटर को ट्रेन कर चुके थे। शुरू में शिखर ने विकेटकीपर बैट्समैन के तौर पर खेलना स्टार्ट किया था ।
1999 में शिखर ने अंडर 16 सीरीज में 9 इनिंग्स में 755 रन बनाए ।इस तरह के अच्छे परफॉर्म के बाद शिखर अंडर 17 एशिया कप के लिए सेलेक्ट हो गए, वहाँपर शिखर ने 3 मैच में 85 के एवरेज से रन बनाए। इसके बाद शिखर ने अंडर 19 में 505 रन 7 इनिंग्स में बनाये यहाँ से शिखर का सिलेक्शन डोमेस्टिक क्रिकेट में रणजी ट्रॉफी में हुआ। उसके बाद शिखर को इंडियन सिनिअर स्क्वाड में चैलेंजर ट्रॉफी के लिए चुनावा गया और यही शिखर धोनी के साथ ओपनिंग करने के लिए चुने गए। इस जोडी ने 2nd मैच में 246 रन्स की पार्टनरशिप की, इस मैच में दोनोने सेंचुरी लगाई। इसके बाद शिखर को इंडिया A के लिए चुना गया । 2005 के चैलेंजर ट्रॉफी में शिखर का परफॉरमेंस अच्छा नही रही। धवन के डोमेस्टिक क्रिकेट में बहुत ज्यादा उतार चढ़ाव आये पर शिखर ने मेहनत की कभी हार नही मानी और आगे बढ़ते रहे।
अब समय आया था शिखर के मेहनत को रंग लानेका शिखर का international डेब्यू उन्होंने ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ किया। जून 2011 में जब वेस्टइंडीज टूर चल रहा था, तब ज्यादातर प्लेयर रेस्ट पे थे तब शिखर को मौका मिला। तब इसी वक्त धवन ने t20 में डेब्यू किया। 
शिखर के पर्सनल लाइफ के बारे में बात करे तो हरभजन सिंह ने शिखर को 2012 में आयेशा मुखर्जी का फेसबुक पे प्रोफाइल दिखाया था। आयेशा एक ब्रिटिश बंगाली लड़की और बॉक्सर थी, जो मेलबर्न ऑस्ट्रेलिया में रहती थी। शिखर को आयेशा बहुत ज्यादा पसंद आ गयी और शिखर आयेशा से फ्रेंडशिप की। फ्रेंडशिप प्यार में बदलने में ज्यादा देर नही लगी। शिखर जब आयेशा से शादी करना चाहते थे तब उनको बहुत ज्यादा फैमिली प्रोब्लेम्स आ गयी थी bcoz आयेशा की पहली शादी होगयी थी, आयेशा के पहलेसे ही 2 गर्ल थी रिया और आलिया। लेकिन शिखर ने सब प्रोब्लेम्स ठीक की और 30 अक्टूबर 2012 को आयेशा से शादी कर ली। उसके के बाद शिखर और आयेशा एक बेटा भी है उसका नाम जोरावर है।
शिखर एक लेफ्ट हैंडेड बैट्समैन है और उसके साथ राइट आर्म ऑफ ब्रेक बॉलर भी है।
शिखर के टेस्ट डेब्यु की बात करे तो 14 मार्च 2013 में ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ हुआ। शिखर ने थर्ड टेस्ट में ओपेनिंग टेस्ट फास्टेट सेंचुरी इन डेब्यू का रिकॉर्ड बनाया। इसके बाद शिखर हात में इंजुरी हो गयी थी।
शिखर का odi डेब्यु
20 oct 2010 vs ऑस्ट्रेलिया हुआ था। शिखर odi में ज्यादा फॉर्म में जब आये तब चैंपियन ट्रॉफी 2013 में रोहित और शिखर ओपनिंग जोड़ी बनाई गई। यह जोड़ी इतनी कामयाब रही कि इंडिया चैंपियन ट्रॉफी जीत गया। तबसे अबतक रोहित और शिखर की ओपनिंग जोड़ी टॉप में रही है। 2019 वर्लकप में शिखर 2nd मैच ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ चोटिल हुए थे तब भी खेलते रहे और 117 रन बनाए थे , लेकिन वैसे ही खेलने की वजह से इंजुरी ज्यादा बाद गयी और शिखर वर्ल्डकप से बाहर हो गए थे और हमारे टीम कॉम्बिनेशन में बहुत ज्यादा फर्क पड गया था। हालांकि उसके बाद ओपनिंग में रोहित और राहुल थे और राहुल अच्छा खेले थे। t20 डेब्यू शिखर ने 4जून 2011 वेस्ट इंडीज के खिलाफ किया था। शिखर ने अपनी आईपीएल की सुरुवात दिल्ली के साथ कि थी अब शिखर sunrisers हैदराबाद के साथ खेलते है।

Shikhar Dhawan was born on 5 December 1985 in Delhi. Shikhar's father's name was Mahenderpal and Mataji's name was Sunaina. Shikhar was very naughty since childhood. Shikhar studied up to school at St. Marks Senior Secondary Public School, Delhi. Shikhar was as fond of playing as naughty. Once Shikhar's mother had fed Shikhar's mischief and locked him in the house, Shikhar had gone down with the help of clothes from the window.

Shikhar liked Ayesha very much and friendship with Shikhar Ayesha. It did not take long to convert into friendship love. Talking about Shikhar's Test debut, it was against Australia on 14 March 2013. Shikhar holds the record for opening test fast century in debut in the third test. After this, Shikhar Haat was rejected.
Peak odi debut
It was 20 oct 2010 vs Australia. Rohit and Shikhar were the opening pair in the Champions Trophy 2013 when Shikhar came into more form in ODI. The pair were so successful that India won the champion trophy. Since then, the opening pair of Rohit and Shikhar have been in the top. In the 2019 World Cup, Shikhar was playing against Australia when he was injured in the 2nd match and scored 117 runs, but because of playing the same way, Injuri went much later and Shikhar was out of the World Cup and our team combination was very different. had gone. However after that there were Rohit and Rahul in the opening and Rahul played well. The t20 debut was made by Shikhar against the West Indies on 4 June 2011. Shikhar started his IPL with Delhi, now Shikhar plays with the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
